Born and brought up in India, I had the unique privilege of studying in Sir J.J. College of Architecture (Asia's first architecture school) and Center for Environmental Planning and Technology (CEPT) for my B.Arch and M.Arch.

JJ and CEPT are home to stalwarts of Indian architecture such as Ar. B.V. Doshi and Ar. Charles Correa.

Selected for Erasmus Mundus scholarship to study two semesters at Politecnico Di Milano (as part of  student exchange program) provided me with a golden opportunity to travel around Europe and visit all the places that I only dreamed about before.

As fate would have it, I moved to New York after my marraige. Walking around in the streets of Manhattan, I was exposed to masterpieces of modern architecture. I eventually moved to San Francisco which is where I am located presently. Being in San Francisco provided me with insights about green buildings and environmental architectural practices.

Having lived in three continents for an extended period of time provided me with a unique perspective of places, people and architecture.

I have tried to chronicle some of my exploits in this site and hope you enjoy it.
